Maybe an increase in life expectancy is part of the answer. People die later and people are 50 or more when they inherit, rarely 35 or less.
What are the root causes of this?
Money supply expansion and millennials/gen-x not holding enough assets that rise with inflation?

Are these cohorts equally sized? Maybe there are more Boomers to begin with? Also not sure how they calculate wealth but if they subtract debt then higher student loans (mortgages?).

Not equally sized. Boomers and Millenials are roughly equal. Gen-X maybe 10% less than both in population. Good points.

The average Boomer probably had 4 or 5 more years in the workforce, with all the compounding that results.
