I haven't played in about 2 years. Been studying fundamental investing instead. Some guys like Ivey will quit incredibly fast. Like after losing one moderate sized hand. I played mostly on the internet so didn't socialize much with poker players.
A couple of good ones were in my fraternity and they introd me to others. Everyone was from the 2004 online poker boom cohort.

Cool. I ran into a guy in Thailand randomly (and became long term friends) that knew David Benefield from university. I wasn't as good back then, only rose to the top after 2015.
