True reasoning is only possible when there is no motivation.
In the sense that there is always emotion because there is money involved? Or in the simpler sense that because you don’t know whether your opponent is rational, you cannot respond rationally?

Only the computer isn't losing at least some edge to emotion. Best humans combat this by quitting very fast when losing.
