      More like the only way to sustain a growing economy is to become democratic. Germany is a good comparison for the future of china. Id think Hong Kong might be changing the public opinion of the chinese especially if they compare North Korean type of economy on the scale of china.

      Is it true that it is really that undemocratic? Notwithstanding Xi, I always got the impression that within the Communist Party there were some at least meritocratic functionality. Communist Party seems to work like a big corporation.
