      This "age-standardized" graph from the Lancet (whose diet advice is abominable) seems to disagree. I did some googling and there really isn't any good country vs. country data on the disease.       Forget age standardized. You need an incidence rate overlayed with a genetic heritage map from 23 and me. I'm betting AZ is more common N Europeans in the US and Canada with that map.

      Whites in the us have higher rates than blacks in the us, despite black people, iirc, having way worse health outcomes generally. Though black people have higher rates of vascular (different) dementia.
