You're arguing that brands don't have the budgets or the bandwidth to take on more than Facebook and google. I'm saying that Amazon has destroyed Google's business for consumer products. Therefore, you're missing a significant third option.
Oh yea amazon of course. Makes sense for brands to increasingly work closer with Amazon ad over time. I'm just saying it's interesting how booking had a hand in developing google dynamic ad product and how tight a relationship there means crumbs left for say twitter/bing/pin
