Why doesn't the United States deploy the US military forces in the middle east to the south side of Chicago, Baltimore, and East St. Louis? Notwithstanding the oil, doesn't that seem like a better ROI?
The US is a military state. Just because you deploy the army to a location in the United States doesn't mean you'll have soldiers drive around the Robert Traylor homes in humvees. I didn't say it was a business issue so I don't get what you're saying.

Oh I see what you're saying. I said ROI. My bad. I don't see it as a business issue. It's not about making money. It's about helping the citizens of the United States and in my opinion that's better done in our poorest neighborhoods than the Middle East.

Yeah but I'm saying it's a cultural issue, not something to be solved through force. Just because maybe it’s a better use of resources, does it require calling a state of emergency?
