Ban stock buybacks. TXN mgmt (for one example among hundreds) has paid themselves BILLIONS in stock-based comp supported by buybacks. All for running a SOXX tracking index. It’s ludicrous. I'm not sure if either is a good solution but I think banning management awarding itself stock based compensation might be a better area to investigate.
