      I'm not a big Yang fan, but I don't believe that is correct. In order to receive the UBI, you must give up other welfare assistance. @warpfactor13

      With the gov't as the middle man, it will cost you $2K to get your $1K back. The $1K per month is already insulting if you have a job, but what happens when a burger costs $100 because the Fed is printing so much cash? The gov't is paying you for what action in return?

      I'm not a fan on UBI (haven't thought about it as deeply as I should though). That said, check out the Cantillion Effect. I'd rather have citizens be getting the inflated money than crony capitalist banks.
