I didn't know how to play. You think "color combination" is obvious but it's not to idiots like me and there are more of us than you. Make a super fucking simple quick video intro showing how to play and what colors make what and how to win. Green + purple = blue? Who knew!

I have an intro page when you launch with all the possible combos. Was that not helpful? Also the first level is designed in a way that you can only do one step at any time which (i thought) would help getting a feel of it.

I somehow got through it without knowing how to play. In school or at work that means I should've been more careful or read the instructions. In consumer products, this means YOU didn't do a good enough job. I have this word and I'll explain how I came up with it.

It's called retard-proofing. You need your game intro and explanation to be so simple and intuitive, someone you think is totally retarded can do it. Where did I learn this? In the early 2010s I would build websites and products and sales would suck.

So I would drive to Starbucks and find people who had nothing better to do and ask them to buy something on my website or ask them what my product did. They. Could. Not. Do it.

Seriously, the majority of people could not navigate through a regular checkout funnel or add things to cart in a website they weren't familiar with. No one had any idea what my products did. This was with me forcing them to do it and me next to them!

I'd watch their faces grimace as they scratched their head. My fault not theirs! You have to explain and sell directly and fast and it has to be so simple a retard can do it.
