In china, a whole gamer population grew up playing wow. Many friends have wished for a warcraft theme park instead of star wars one. I will share more on how I think abt franchise value maybe later

But long short franchises that create deep engagement create fond "childhood memories" that we look back and hope to feel that endorphins again. That's why we watch remastered lion kings, that's why people play wow classic. Same for star wars
