How could this be in a growing city? Some possible explanations: - You can't get to a station without driving a car, so riders bypass public transportation - Once you arrive at your final stop, you cannot walk to your final destination - Public transportation is just too slow

Lot of other car-oriented cities have this problem. Guess what city has the largest light rail network in the United States? Dallas, Texas. No one uses it there either (except for homeless people, in part because there are no turnstiles to prevent fare evasion).
