Reading @rorysutherland's Alchemy, i got to 80% before checking how much i have left. Normally that number is 10%. It has a lot of bite sized chapters ideal to read/reflect/repeat. I've only seen a few authors using that structure like @nntaleb (who is referenced a few times).

The main premise is that mind evolved in a specific environment to solve specific problems (like body) so in order to use it efficiently for other things we often need hacks.

Going on my list thanks. Essentialism sounds like a similar book. Kinda trashy but I got a lot out of it.
