You can increase growth rates through breeding/genetics, and supply plenty of N P K, but that "steroid" growth won't absorb as much minerals. Related but not the driver here- higher co2 leads to quicker plant growth and higher carbs relative to micronutrients

Well, I'm 90% sure that graph is bullshit. Numbers I've seen are ~20% reduction. N & P also fuck with mycorhizzae. Important to also think composition ally- plants now have greater mineral yield per acre, but bc they have even higher yield mineral %s decreasepic.twitter.com/6favp5BWAX
