      Define what you mean by "smart"? Having a high IQ means you are good at IQ tests, doesn't mean you're smart.

      Right. I'm saying Kasparov is brilliant, but only got a 135 on his IQ test. "Smart"? The ability to do things with your mind which others cannot.

      I'm not trying to be obtuse but "smart" is pretty ill-defined. I know entrepreneurs who are whip smart but would flunk IQ tests. I know people who nail IQ tests who are dumb and ineffective. IQ speaks to some cognitive processes but being smart is more than that.
