"GE Is Headed Toward Bankruptcy" "GE Is the Next Enron" these read to me, as declarations of fact, rather than as opinions. $GE

This has the real potential to make lawyers very rich in the future. Potential future litigation/depositions: Lawyers deposing $GE: "if x, y, and z are true, how can you claim 'the allegations we have heard are entirely false and misleading'

Another deposition possibility = Lawyers deposing $GE report authors: "what was the purpose in phrasing opinions as declaratives? See exhibit 3901, a private email exchange. It suggests u thought ch 11 was a possibility not certainty. Please explain this inconsistency."

Funny story: 1 year ago, one of my analysts wanted to research $GE . I said no, telling him I had more confidence in our ability to gain an analytical advantage in the names in our pipeline- $1-$20 billion market cap stocks - vs $100 billion ones. no regrets, but kudos to him.

having read through the $GE report, past the rhetoric & credential puffing, I don't know it says other than "it's a zero in a recession". Not sure if anyone without advanced GE specific coverage experience and/or insurance analysis, will be able to understand within a day's time.

from my vantagepoint at the time: we had a target rich pipline - including $BUR and the supplement/weight loss MLMs (like $MED $USNA . What's expected return shorting these? How much analyst time, and other research resources required? apply that same question to $GE. No brainer.
