We have a user generated video monopoly on youtube. I think we have one in China (tudou/youku). Video delivery and warehousing/logistics aren't that different. They seem to scale in a similar way to me.
Kuaishou and Douyin are a different service though. Youku and Tudou are China's true youtube equivalent and AFAIK they do have monopolistic market share. Hulu's in business because they have content. Netflix has more, but Hulu has stuff Netflix doesn't, period.
I don't understand your question? I imagine that if you make a movie you just sell to the highest bidder?
