Video seems so fragmented compared to retail and it's unclear to me why that is. Why is there a Hulu, Netflix, Prime Video, and Disney when we just have Amazon?
I think it's because high-end video content is not fragmented enough to make a vibrant marketplace. Suppose you had a marketplace that had every movie on the planet except for Disney's.
