Some problems get worse the longer they are not expressed. For example, the longer without an earthquake or forest fire, the worse we should expect the next one to be. What other important problems are like this, so that we should worry about suppressing small versions?
- Discontent with government. "The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants. It is its natural manure." America is good about this. Middle east, not so much.
