Once Upon...is a fantastic film that shines on many levels. There was a couple next to me in the theater talking throughout, and they loved it despite knowing none of the history. I’m not an expert, so I’m sure I missed tons of references I’ll grow to love over decades rewatching
I’ll probably rewatch all of them (other than Death Proof) over the next month and see if I’d revise the list

Ha, I actually swapped that twice while writing the tweet. They’re definitely very close for me, and it might just come down to when I saw them first. Reservoir Dogs I first watched very young which may color it a bit
