Just occurred to me that entrepreneurs are, among successful people, the most humble. Anyone starting a business cannot avoid making a lot of mistakes, having their certainties shattered by facts etc... They must act on their gut feelings yet be ready to change their minds.
Agree totally. Successful entrepreneurs become humble after seeing the market repeatedly crush the plans that, in their heads, were to succeed. Entrepreneurs that don't become humble leave the sample through bankruptcy. Humility is also a great trait in management and sales.

I regularly communicate poorly and a result of this, people I manage do what I used to consider a "bad job". Once I realized that I was not that "great", I became a much better manager. And I have so much more to learn... Not fake humility.

You must pair humility that you are often wrong and with the confidence to take action. It's a paradox.
