I just found out the hard way that @amazon's "delivery guarantee" is meaningless. "If we provide a guaranteed delivery date and a delivery attempt is not made by this date, we will provide a refund of any shipping fees associated with that order." But with Prime delivery is free.

They will give you a credit towards a future order if shipping was free. However the cure ($5 promo and dealing with amazon customer service)) is worse than the disease (late package).
