Winning without losing is luck. Winning after losing is skill.

True. One of the areas where he excels. He’s willing to take those 10 delta bets if they have positive NPV, whereas most CEOs care a lot about “being right” (ego or to keep the job). He probably picked this up during his time at D.E. Shaw.
