I like lambda school but they're not curing the underlying disease. The root causes of the student loan crisis are: 1. Many people being unable to understand the long term implications of debt, esp. at 18 years old. 2. Government subsidies create distortions

Those distortions would be an ever growing tuition price and people going to school or getting majors in topics that they have no business in.

Lambda's success is in digitizing the university exp and providing the post-ed career services that people would think/like from universities (not what they were designed for). As it grows, seems a goal is gaining the signal we attribute to "top" schools & problem will continue.
