Hmm. Peak isn't that different, but area under the curve is twice as high in the evenings. Blood glucose stays elevated a lot longer when eating at night.

Was on phone. Thanks. Missed area under curve and that they controlled for meal. It's gotta be activities. I would think that our bodies would want the glucose in our bloodstream in the morning (so that we can use it?).

Melatonin binds to receptors on pancreatic cells to suppress insulin secretion. Less insulin = glycogen floats around in blood longer.
