Baidu sucks, but it's not just Baidu's fault. It's probably mostly the Chinese internet's. It seems like Chinese internet traffic is much more highly concentrated in a few website than it is in the US. Chinese people also treat their sites like they treat their chinatown shops.
In other words, they're dirty, they're old looking, things aren't expected to work, and they're totally disorganized and not up to date.
