2) That is the ultimate nuclear option given China's focus on developing a domestic semiconductor manufacturing industry. Leading edge semiconductors literally cannot be manufactured without using software and equipment from these largely (ex AMSL and a few others) US companies.

No worries. I don't know the space. I wasn't trying to politely call out an error. Was just trying to get my footing in the industry and wanted to make sure I wasn't fucking up
