The risk reward for the class action is significantly better than the risk reward for any trading based on advance knowledge of a class action lawsuit. Further, them engaging in it would probably disqualify them as lead counsel in the class case.
This a reference to the Bayer/Monsanto mass tort? Basically, they make a lot more money from the case itself.
