Why doesn't Twitter just add a 5th button for "favorite"? I need to be able to give people "got this" or other positive feedback via 
, but I also want to be able to catalog cool and interesting tweets to come back to.

Maybe the ambiguity between "like" and "bookmark" is a feature

Edit button has positives and negatives (namely, that it's abusable and breaks retweets). What's the negative for a favorite button? Slightly greater complicatedness in the menu?
Eh...definitely seems more like a bug, aka, unintended consequence. What are you thinking?

Haha, okay fair enough. I could make the argument the other way too though right? There are instances where you would want to catalog a non-pc tweet, but you cannot because some people (new users, particularly) perceive favorited tweets as liking and not bookmarking.
