Entrepreneurs...how many hours have you put into the ideas that you rejected in favor of something better? I ask because I was reflecting on the distinct products successful I've launched and how long it took to get to a point where I actually made some money.

Justin Kan iterated and grinded for 8 years before selling to Amazon for 970 million. Competing against Youtube or, worse, Amazon ain't easy, but IMHO he gave up too soon (by selling).
