4. Chinese company profits because Amazon customers don't realize that the 7000+ reviews are all for speakers, not Pankoo binoculars. See for yourself: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00GHY5F3K/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1#customerReviews …

Doesn't just happen to Amazon. It also happens to smaller companies. It's happened to us maybe 5-10 times. Check out the reviews for this RC car...they're all for a tiger plush we discontinued. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00WSQF9J6?ref=myi_title_dp …pic.twitter.com/z2qzn7pwen

This is precisely why I use https://reviewmeta.com and its Chrome extension
-
It doesn't work. The data it gives runs from relatively inaccurate (off by 20%) to totally wrong. I know this because I know whether or not I am manipulating reviews on my own products. Reviewmeta is as fake as the reviews on Amazon itself.

That's wild. How do you take over another product listing like that? Why would Amazon let you "merge" products?
-
A lot of different ways to do this. Amazon lets you "merge" products because you may be selling a red shirt and an identical blue shirt. Those should be grouped into a single listing.
