Interesting that Texas doesn’t show up for number of homeless but does for sleeping outside. Seems like it might be bad data rather than actual fact though

Agreed. Though you'd be crazy to be homeless in Texas. Bad weather, no public transportation, not walkable, and probably less sympathy.
