Are there examples of private equity owned and operated companies that are innovative? I feel like innovation ceases post-PE acquisition.

I feel like you’ve taken a pretty narrow view of private equity here, and are really referring more to LBOs. Any company not publicly traded is technically owned by private equity. There’s a very big world out there of post-startup, non-public companies.
