Never pathologize (bounded) failure. Pathologize the refusal to try.

In general, when people selfstyle themselves "entrepreneur", "polymath", or something of the sort, they're not. Real entrepreneurs calls themselves "restaurant chain CEO", "Ski equipment manufacturer", "kidney imaging importer"...

Replying to @nntaleb
I am the founder, CEO, and owner of two profitable Lindy companies. I call myself an entrepreneur because there isn't a better way to describe me. Yes, technically, I am the CEO, but I am not a CEO. I am a creator and a risk-taker and that makes me an entrepreneur.

By your own logic, you're less likely to actually be a flaneur because you describe yourself as one instead of "guy who sits around coffee shops having esoteric conversations" or however else you would describe a flaneur without using the term itself.
