Does anyone know how disagreements with the IRS work? - If one lies about their income or expenses it is tax fraud. - If one (credibly) makes a mistakes that leads to an underpayment what happens? - If the IRS and a taxpayer disagree on an interpretation what happens? IRS said we owed more than we paid for the same issue same problem 8 yrs in a row. Each year CPA firm told them the code and statue we were abiding by and they agreed we were right ....... If you think your being screwed get a CPA firm involved and or the Ombudsman. Good
