Yeah, but AFAIK, that was really the only time he did RE and then, I believe, he only got involved in RE investments because, as a lawyer who did many RE deals, that is what was in his area of competence.

Did you take into consideration how much he's already given to charity? He was much quicker to donate than Buffett, who held onto his coin.
