Actually there's a saying that goes "if someone does you a favor, they are more likely to do you another favor" but I don't remember exactly the saying.

I think it's a study that was once very popular in psychology, that today probably would not replicate. It's hard to separate what effect doing a favor has from all the other factors involved.
