Is there any incremental evidence that AI is *actually* taking jobs? I haven't heard of any team being laid off due to AI/automation. On the other hand I have read plenty of stories of lots of humans being hired to review content because algos alone can't do the job.
Is it possible to distinguish this from what Renaissance has been doing over the past 30 years?

Unsure as Renaissance is such a misterious black box. But I would assume that they have enough tech that, if leaked, would make a many analyst, PM, execution jobs obsolete overnight. Either that or they are ponzi..
