I recently learned that China not only has dominant market share in rare earth metals necessary for cellular phones but also heparin, an enzyme (?) necessary in surgery to prevent coagulation.

I also learned that in the USA the FDA has only approved pig-sourced heparin! As such, surgery for Muslims in the u.s. is Haram! Muslim countries make it from cows, which in the wake of mad cow, apparently is not allowed by the FDA!
