What is even the point of bothering to put in a rail line that doesn't connect anything important? It's absurd
It's low cost (relatively) and it probably allows them to keep the 3.5 billion in Federal money.

I guess, but if that's the best reason they've got, heads ought to roll. It's sort of like just building the section of the transcontinental railroad from Cheyenne to Ogden.
