Am generally pretty optimistic about Stripe. Part of the job, honestly. But, man, if we ship even half of what‘s planned for 2019, the year is going to be a true lollapalooza.
I feel like you are committing a management mistake here. If your team reads your tweets, and they almost certainly do, probably most of them secretly, you are implicitly allowing them to release HALF of what they've promised. That's not acceptable.

I may have less experience than you do in managing software development. I've done some, but not as much as a product manager at google or stripe. I've never heard of an OKR. That said, I still maintain that his tweet is like saying "You can take your foot of the gas, team."
