1st new transit project of 2019 is now in service in Fort Worth, connecting downtown with the airport. Unfortunately, it will only serve about 500 riders/mile on a typical day, among the worst performance of the projects under construction in North America https://www.thetransportpolitic.com/2019/01/08/openings-and-construction-starts-planned-for-2019/ …https://twitter.com/ScottyWK/status/1083339828811452416 …
At least it was very cheap on a per mile basis. Fort Worth lacks density, which makes it hard to make this work. That said, the Trinity rail express between Dallas and fw is top 10 in ridership.
