countries, I see no reason to use the emigrating country as a factor in admission in immigration - because, simply, there are other ways to sort for positive and negative immigrant characteristics that are better metrics.
And also, because, it's fairer and consistent with the modern ideals of these countries, especially meritocracy - my favorite.

The problem is that multiculturalism doesn't seem to be compatible with liberalism or democracy. Some diversity works, an excess breaks everything apart
