A fair and amusing point in America (Canada, Australia, Brazil etc.), a country built on immigration and the melting pot. However, I don't think it's a fair nor amusing point in other countries. Of course, this viewpoint is unfair to the indigenous people of the new world countries. That said, I still think it's the best way forward.
