I guess as a newly minted oil net-exporter, we'd prefer to have oil prices be high, but in general, it seems to me, that, as usual, Trump is playing this strategically very well.

Oil prices are falling, Germany won't sell KSA weapons while the U.S. can, and KSA is under threat from possible American sanctions. Maybe this is not best in the long term for Saudi citizens, but what's not to like for the United States?
