Majority just wants to get along. The minority here is intransigent, vindictive, and staffs the elite institutions. Targets are picked off one at a time using flash mobs.

The way to stop a mob is create a personal cost for instigating individuals. If there was a global registry, with meticulous evidence, of intolerant individuals, then normal people would check it before closely associating with them.
I think the way to solve this problem is to create another intolerant minority: The Protectors of Free Speech. When Roseanne says something obscene, ppl threaten to boycott Disney, if she is not fired. Our group could threaten to boycott Disney if she is!!
