Meh, VC has grown so much in aggregate that it's fine to lose share. Also, this just happened for one reason: China and then it's not like Chinese firms are better at VC or something. The internet, because of the great firewall, bifurcated, creating a 2nd ecosystem...

That makes a lot of sense. They are bruteforcing it over there. It still baffles me how Europe didn't really manage to create relevant tech companies like the US despite being theoretically equivalent in so many aspects, any thoughts on that?
