      Kind of a weird question but, I'll ask anyway. Do you think Venezuela will "bottom" anytime soon and then when it does is there a reasonable way to make some money off it?

      I think that's an excellent contrarian question. I think we are close or at the bottom. Can't see any other way around it other than liberalizing (unless crude oil rallies strongly, which counterintuitively would be bad news = more leeway for Maduro)

      Probably investors buying real assets like local companies, apartments in Caracas etc. will make the biggest returns. Would assume the Chinese will scoop the best deals. I would not touch the bonds yet, so I don't see any way for us mere mortals to invest..

      Yeah, maybe time to make some moves. If you buy at low enough prices, you'll do all right, even if half of what you buy gets nationalized again (or something).
