For example, Japan built it's supply chain then taught Taiwanese and Koreans how to do their businesses. Japanese and Koreans taught mainland Chinese. Everyone is doing it in South East Asia. Labor is cheap still and supply chain is close. Africa not so much.

How poor would Mexico be if it weren't next to the United States? Africa should have an Indian style outsourcing business. It does, but I understand it's extremely small. Eradicating poverty is complex.
