Yeah I would argue the current immigration system selects heavily against risk takers. Basically the govt goes above and beyond to make sure everyone who enters will be a good corporate slave.

They dont ensure that at all for family based visas. For job based ones they check that you are employed for a prolonged period of time, often by the same company. It seems redundant as you are already excluded from all social security for 10 years anyway.

Or they could look at your yearly income from tax records, your bank account, but for some reason they are often fixated on _employment_.
